What are the age restrictions when renting a car?

All depends on the country where you want to rent a car, the rental company and the class of vehicle. There are rental companies that rent cars to people from 18 to 75 years of age. These age barriers may be higher/lower in some countries with stricter regulations (i.a. Ireland min. age 21). Oftentimes, rental companies restrict the rental of luxury vehicles to drivers only over the age of 25.
