Do I need to pay a deposit for insurance through HAPPYCAR?

Yes, the deposit must be paid regardless of whether the insurance (Refundable deductible, Zero deductible or Extended cover) was purchased on our website. The Excess and Extended cover policies work on a cost reimbursement policy, so rental companies do not exempt customers from paying the deposit. If you opt for the Zero excess policy provided by the car rental company, the deposit is still required but is much lower.
