General Information

The town is found on rivers Ystwyth and the Rheidol and on the western coast. It is a very secluded town, although there are towns nearby known of a large population number. The devil was tricked by an old lady when she threw food on the bridge which the dog chased and so it was the dog’s life that was taken.

Ceredigion Museum is one of the only museums in the town. Its main focus is the history of the county of Ceredigion showcasing old Welsh costumes, a collection of taxidermy, and other artefacts.
